Tia Blouse Sewing Pattern
A woven tee is one of those underrated pieces in one’s wardrobe that can quickly become a go-to piece. Tia can be as noticeable as you choose to make it! Go with View A in a classic neutral shade for an essential basic tee, or make View B in a bold statement fabric for a tee that turns heads! View A is a great staple layering piece, whilst view B gives you a bit of understated drama with its gathered, puff (but not *too* puffed) sleeves and elegant cuffs.
|Recommended fabrics||Medium weight viscose/rayon, Tencel (TM), cupro, linen, chambray and similar blends. The sleeves of view B are well suited to slightly more structured fabrics such as chambray, linen and cotton.|
|Notions||All views: one small button (3/8″ / 1 cm) or hook and eye, for the back neckline.|
View B: Six small buttons for the cuff (3/8″ – 1/2″ / 1 – 1.2 cm)
|Available pattern formats||PDF (Sizes 6-20 and 16-30):|
Downloadable PDF files containing the instructions booklet and your pattern pieces. Pattern piece files are provided in the following formats:
– Copyshop/A0 format (2x A0 pages)
– Print at home/ A4/US letter format (29 pages for the 6-20 size range; 40 pages for the 16-30 size range).
A printed pattern folder containing your pattern pieces printed onto large sheets of tissue paper, and an A5 instructions booklet.
This pattern is available in our 6-20 and 16-30 size ranges. Our size ranges are based on different body proportions and bust cup sizes, so if you fall into sizes 16-20, do compare the body measurements in each size range to find the best match for your measurements. Both size ranges are drafted for the same height of 5’6″ / 167cm.
Choose the pattern size for which the Bust measurement in the table is closest to your full bust measurement, then grade up or down between sizes to suit your waist and hip measurements.
PDF Sewing patterns
PDF sewing patterns are a convenient alternative to more traditional paper patterns. When you purchase a PDF file, you will be given access to download a set of PDF files including an instructions booklet and the pattern files. You can print the files at home, on A4 or US Letter sized paper, or you can send the Copyshop/A0 files to a printer (a “copyshop”). The printer will print out the files on large sheets and post them to you.
The pattern files are nested, so you can easily grade between sizes, and layered, so you can choose which size(s) you want to print.

We focus on quality
The Tia Blouse was drafted and graded by professional pattern makers and graders. Our two size ranges were drafted and graded from completely separate ‘base’ sizes.
Our patterns are fit tested on fit models in the base size for each size range before being graded to other sizes – this picture was taken at our first fitting of the Tia blouse!
The pattern and instructions were reviewed and edited by a specialist technical editor who aims to ensure that the instructions are as clear as possible and there aren’t any grading oddities.
