Errata
We spend a lot of time and attention on trying to catch any errors in our patterns (including, first and foremost, a thorough review by an external editor who makes up to two different sizes of each pattern, step by step, to check that the instructions are correct and clear. However, it is always possible for things to slip through the cracks, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by these errors.
If you spot an error which has slipped through the cracks, please let us know!
Tia Blouse (Simply Sewing magazine version only)
We are so pleased that the Tia blouse was featured in the December 2021 issue of Simply Sewing magazine. However, unfortunately, there are a couple of errors in the magazine’s version of the instructions, which we would like to bring to your attention. (These errors are only in the magazine’s version, so if you have purchased a copy in Michelle Sews packaging from us directly or from a stockist, these do not apply to you. The instructions in the magazine were edited to suit their standard ‘house style’ and are not an identical copy of our instructions).
Please note:
- The seam allowance is 3/8″ or 1cm.
- The instructions for sewing French seams refer to sewing right sides together first, and then wrong sides. This is incorrect, please sew wrong sides together first, then trim the seams and sew right sides together.
