It has been quite some time since I did an actual blog post, and it feels like so much has happened since my last one! Life gets in the way.. But in amongst all the mayhem, I have, of course, still been getting my sewing fix here and there.
One recent make, which I was pleasantly surprised by, is McCalls 7601.
This is a versatile pattern playing up to the cold-shoulder trend, with various combinations of ruffles, sashes and peplums.
For this month’s Minerva Crafts Bloggers’ Network post, I finally got around to making another Sew Over It Pussy Bow Blouse, and it reminded me how much I liked this pattern the first time around! I paired it with a pair of trousers made using Vogue v9189, a reprint of a vintage (circa 1960!) Vogue pattern.
