The end of this year has been a manic whirlwind for me, with my sister’s wedding taking place just before Christmas and a whole lot of running around to do for that. But I did find time to make the Elisalex dress by By Hand London, not once but twice!
Another month, another Minerva Crafts Bloggers’ Network post! This month, I chose a gorgeous felted floral fabric and made a Burda bustier peplum top – which doesn’t even require much fabric!
For this month’s Minerva Crafts Bloggers’ Network post, I finally got around to making another Sew Over It Pussy Bow Blouse, and it reminded me how much I liked this pattern the first time around! I paired it with a pair of trousers made using Vogue v9189, a reprint of a vintage (circa 1960!) Vogue pattern.
For the first time ever, I made the same pattern twice, literally back to back. I was so happy with my first Sew Over It Coco Jacket that I went straight on to make another one from a black Linton Tweed wool that I’d been holding onto for exactly this purpose.
